On 13 April 2012, His Majesty's Cabinet approved the decision to appoint the following ministerial re-assignments, effective from 1 May 2012

1.       Hon. Lisiate ‘Aloveita ‘Akolo  (former Minister for Police, Prisons & Fire Services) is appointed Minister for Finance & National Planning

2.       Hon. Sunia Manu Fili (former Minister for Finance & National Planning) is appointed  Minister for Police, Prisons & Fire Services

3.       Hon. Sosefo Fe'aomoeata Vakata,  (former Minister for Training, Employment, Youth & Sports) is appointed  Minister for Revenue Services

4.       Lord Vaea (former Minister for Training, Employment, Youth and Sports, Minister for Agriculture, Food, Forests and Fisheries)

This reshuffle will be in line with the Government restructure of July 1, 2012.
