“Four Cruise Ships to arrive in Tonga during the week”

Nuku’alofa in the Kingdom of Tonga will welcome the arrival of four cruise ships this week, starting with the Europa II arriving this morning Monday 12 December, 2016 at Vuna Wharf, Nuku’alofa.  The Europa II arrived from Aitutaki, Cook Islands and will continue on to Fulaga, Lau Group in Fiji.

Also arriving this morning at Port of Refuge, Neiafu, Vava’u was the Radiance of the Seas cruise ship with around 2,200 passengers, who will continue to Nuku’alofa on Tuesday 13 December, 2016.  This will the second cruise ship for Nuku’alofa.

The third cruise ship will be the Crystal Symphony arriving from Aitutaki, Cook Islands on Thursday 15th December.

The last cruise ship will be the Costa Atlantica, which will arrive from Suva, Fiji Friday 16th December and continue on to Pago Pago, American Samoa.

It is estimated that it will be over 5,000 passengers visiting Nuku’alofa.  These cruise ships will certainly help the local economy as the country prepares to the Christmas festive season 2016.
