“HRH Prince Ata opened 2016 Oceania Archery Championships and Continental Qualifying Tournament in Nuku’alofa”

His Royal Highness Prince Ata declare the 2016  Oceania Archery Championships and Continental Qualifying Tournament opened by shooting the first arrow at the Pangai Lahi waterfront this morning.

The opening ceremony began with a marching of athletes and officials from six participating countries, including Australia, Fiji, New Caledonia, New Zealand, Tahiti and Tonga, from the Digicel Square to Pangai in Nuku’alofa.

The four day tournament will end with selecting of 2 men and 2 women to represent the Region for the Rio de Janeiro 2016 Games.
