The inaugural Pacific Non-Communicable Disease Summit is currently being held in Nuku’alofa from 20-22 June 2016. It was officially opened yesterday Monday 20th of June 2016 by His Majesty King Tupou IV.
The keynote address was delivered by the United Nations Development Program Administrator Helen Clark.
The Summit is a three day response to the issue of the Non Communicable Disease crisis in the Pacific region. Over 120 high level delegates are attending the summit.
